Description

Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy dessert made with layers of strawberry pie filling, creamy cheesecake flavor, and buttery cake mix baked into a golden, gooey treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: fresh strawberries for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the strawberry filling.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the entire dish.
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Do not stir the layers for best results.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
