Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cups frozen French fries
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley or cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Season the beef with paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
- Assemble the burritos by placing seasoned beef in the center of each tortilla.
- Top with crispy fries and a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Add sour cream and herbs if using.
- Fold the sides and roll tightly into burritos. Serve warm.

- You can add hot sauce or jalapeños for extra spice.
- Swap beef with chicken or plant-based meat if desired.
