Description
Juicy seared steak paired with buttery garlic shrimp and spicy sautéed green beans for a bold, protein-packed meal bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season steak generously with salt, black pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and rest.
- In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and green beans. Sauté over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, and half of the garlic to the green beans. Toss well, season with salt, then remove from skillet.
- Lower heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Add remaining garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, remaining Cajun seasoning, and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Finish shrimp with lemon juice and parsley.
- Slice steak and serve with garlic shrimp and spicy green beans.
Notes
- Let steak rest before slicing to retain juices.
- Use ribeye for a richer flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control heat level.
