Description

Juicy seared steak paired with buttery garlic shrimp and spicy sautéed green beans for a bold, protein-packed meal bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season steak generously with salt, black pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and green beans. Sauté over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Add red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, and half of the garlic to the green beans. Toss well, season with salt, then remove from skillet.
  5. Lower heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Add remaining garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
  6. Add shrimp, remaining Cajun seasoning, and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  7. Finish shrimp with lemon juice and parsley.
  8. Slice steak and serve with garlic shrimp and spicy green beans.

Notes

  • Let steak rest before slicing to retain juices.
  • Use ribeye for a richer flavor.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control heat level.
