Philly Cheese Steak Quesadillas are a flavorful fusion dish combining classic Philly cheesesteak ingredients with crispy, cheesy quesadillas—perfect for a quick dinner or party snack.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 8 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions and bell peppers; sauté for 4–5 minutes until softened.
- Add garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, and chili flakes (if using). Cook for 1 minute.
- Return the beef to the skillet and mix well. Remove from heat.
- Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place one tortilla on the skillet, sprinkle cheese on one half, add beef mixture, then more cheese.
- Fold the tortilla and cook until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas. Slice and serve hot.
Notes
- Slice beef as thin as possible for authentic texture.
- You can substitute chicken for beef if desired.
- Serve with sour cream, salsa, or garlic sauce.
