Ingredients
- 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot espresso
- 2 tablespoons gingerbread syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
- Whipped cream for topping
- A pinch of nutmeg for garnish
- Mini gingerbread cookie for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brew strong coffee or prepare an espresso shot.
- In a small pot, heat milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- Whisk in gingerbread syrup, cinnamon, ginger, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Pour the coffee into a mug, then add the spiced milk mixture.
- Stir well and top with whipped cream.
- Finish with a sprinkle of nutmeg and a mini gingerbread cookie.
