Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry made with tender shrimp, savory sausage slices, and crisp broccoli tossed in a sweet and garlicky honey sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage slices and cook until browned, 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining oil and shrimp to the skillet. Season with black pepper and cook until pink, 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add broccoli and a splash of water to the skillet. Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes until just tender-crisp.
  5. Return shrimp and sausage to the skillet. Pour in honey garlic sauce and stir until everything is well coated and heated through.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Frozen broccoli can be used if fresh is unavailable.
  • Adjust honey and soy sauce ratios to taste—more honey for sweetness, more soy for saltiness.
