Ingredients
- 4 ribeye or sirloin steaks (8 oz / 225 g each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary or thyme
Instructions
- Remove steaks from refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Brush steaks with olive oil and season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Place steaks on the hot grill and cook for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.
- During the last minute, add butter, garlic, and herbs to the grill or pan and baste steaks.
- Remove steaks from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve hot with preferred side dishes.
