Description

Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles are quick, savory stir-fried noodles tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce and tender seared steak bites—ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz rice noodles or lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank), cut into bite-size pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for searing)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak pieces, season lightly with pepper, and sear until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Return the steak to the pan and toss everything together until well combined.
  8. Top with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use thin-cut steak for faster, more even searing.
  • Substitute rice noodles with spaghetti if needed.
  • Add vegetables like broccoli, snap peas, or bell peppers for extra texture.
