Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles are quick, savory stir-fried noodles tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce and tender seared steak bites—ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz rice noodles or lo mein noodles
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or flank), cut into bite-size pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for searing)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak pieces, season lightly with pepper, and sear until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Return the steak to the pan and toss everything together until well combined.
- Top with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.

- Substitute rice noodles with spaghetti if needed.
