Description
A rich and gooey grilled cheese sandwich made using buttery garlic bread for the ultimate flavor-packed twist on a classic.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick-cut bread
- 4 tbsp softened butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp parsley, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix butter, minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down onto the skillet.
- Top each with a mix of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden and the cheese begins to melt, about 3–4 minutes.
- Flip carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt.
- Cook on medium-low to prevent burning the garlic.
- Add tomato slices, bacon, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
