Description
A rich, creamy chocolate fudge infused with cool mint flavor and tinted Frankenstein-green for a spooky Halloween treat.
Ingredients
- 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tsp mint extract (to taste)
- Green food coloring
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for swirl)
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional topping)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter.
- Stir continuously until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and mint extract.
- Add green food coloring until you reach a Frankenstein-green color.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- If using white chocolate chips for a swirl, melt them separately and drizzle over the top, swirling with a toothpick.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm, then cut into squares.
Notes
- Adjust mint extract to your preferred level of mintiness.
- For a darker Frankenstein look, add a drop of black food coloring.
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
