Description

A rich, creamy chocolate fudge infused with cool mint flavor and tinted Frankenstein-green for a spooky Halloween treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tsp mint extract (to taste)
  • Green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional for swirl)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional topping)


Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Stir continuously until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and mint extract.
  5. Add green food coloring until you reach a Frankenstein-green color.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. If using white chocolate chips for a swirl, melt them separately and drizzle over the top, swirling with a toothpick.
  8. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top if desired.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm, then cut into squares.

Notes

  • Adjust mint extract to your preferred level of mintiness.
  • For a darker Frankenstein look, add a drop of black food coloring.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
