Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are fine.
  4. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and edges look set, about 2โ€“3 minutes.
