Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs or stuffing mix
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup chicken or turkey broth
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, cranberries, celery, onion, and garlic.
  3. Add the egg, broth, melted butter, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with gravy or cranberry sauce.

Notes

  • You can substitute dried cranberries with fresh chopped cranberries for extra tartness.
  • Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • Chilling the mixture for 15 minutes helps the balls hold shape better.
