Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs or stuffing mix
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chicken or turkey broth
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, cranberries, celery, onion, and garlic.
- Add the egg, broth, melted butter, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- Serve warm with gravy or cranberry sauce.
Notes
- You can substitute dried cranberries with fresh chopped cranberries for extra tartness.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
- Chilling the mixture for 15 minutes helps the balls hold shape better.
