Description
Elegant stacked towers of sweet winter pears, creamy burrata, and ruby pomegranate arils, finished with a drizzle of honey and balsamic for a luxurious seasonal appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe but firm pears, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 8 oz burrata cheese, torn into portions
- 1 cup pomegranate arils
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of sea salt
- Fresh thyme or mint for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the pears horizontally into even rounds, removing seeds from the center if needed.
- Brush each pear slice lightly with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Assemble the towers by layering a pear slice, a spoonful of burrata, and a sprinkle of pomegranate arils. Repeat for 2–3 layers.
- Drizzle each tower with honey and balsamic glaze.
- Finish with additional pomegranate arils and fresh herbs for garnish.
- Serve immediately for best texture and presentation.
