Description

Crockpot Steak Bites are tender, juicy chunks of beef slow-cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce. This easy, hands-off recipe delivers melt-in-your-mouth flavor perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or hearty comfort food dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin or stew meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the steak bites in batches until browned on all sides (about 2 minutes per side). Do not overcrowd the pan.
  2. Transfer the seared steak bites to the crockpot.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add to the crockpot along with any browned bits from the pan.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, and beef broth to the crockpot. Stir to coat the meat evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until the beef is tender.
  6. Stir before serving and garnish with chopped parsley.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a complete meal.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, whisk 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold water and stir into the crockpot 20 minutes before serving.
  • You can add mushrooms or onions for extra flavor.
  • Choose sirloin or chuck for the most tender results.
  • Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 4 days or can be frozen for 3 months.
