Description

A rich and indulgent fettuccine Alfredo made with juicy garlic shrimp tossed in a creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for an elegant yet easy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 225 g fettuccine pasta
  • 250 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  8. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Add cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra depth of flavor.
