Description

A rich and comforting slow-cooker dish featuring tender chicken simmered in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for an easy hands-off dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water and stir it into the crockpot.
  6. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring well.
  7. Return the chicken to the crockpot and cook for an additional 20–30 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
