Description

A bold and creamy pasta dish featuring juicy cracked-garlic steak bites tossed with cheesy tortellini in a rich garlic butter Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Season steak with salt and cracked black pepper.
  4. Sear steak pieces for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  6. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes until sauce thickens.
  9. Add cooked tortellini and steak back to skillet; toss to coat.
  10. Cook for 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  11. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly cracked black pepper for best flavor.
  • Ribeye can be substituted for sirloin.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra depth.
