Description
A creamy, comforting chicken dish made with tender baked chicken breasts smothered in ranch-seasoned sauce and melted cheese, perfect for an easy family dinner.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
- In a bowl, mix ranch seasoning, sour cream, mayonnaise, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
- You can add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version.
