- 3 lbs pork ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for serving)
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cut ribs into manageable sections that fit into the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix barbecue sauce, onion, garlic, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place ribs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them, coating well.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until ribs are tender.
- Optional: Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with extra BBQ sauce, and broil for 3–5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
- Serve hot with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
Notes
- Use your favorite store-bought or homemade barbecue sauce for best flavor.
