Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
- Stir in melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top if using.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use brown rice for added fiber.
- You can substitute cream of chicken soup for a non-vegetarian version.
- Add cooked mushrooms or onions for extra flavor.
