Description

Baked Ravioli Casserole is an easy, comforting oven-baked dish made with layers of cheese-filled ravioli, rich tomato sauce, and melted cheese, perfect for a quick family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) package cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly over the bottom of the dish.
  4. Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.
  5. Top with ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add another layer of marinara sauce and remaining ravioli.
  7. Finish with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs, let rest 5 minutes, and serve.

Notes

  • You may add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage for extra protein.
  • Spinach or mushrooms can be layered in for added vegetables.
  • Let the casserole rest before serving for cleaner slices.
