Description

Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with savory garlic and cheesy Parmesan flavor. They make the perfect side dish or snack that’s easy to prepare and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: ranch or marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.
  2. Cut potatoes into even-sized wedges and place them in a large bowl. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the seasoned oil over the potato wedges and toss until well coated.
  5. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet, skin side down if possible.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan evenly over the potatoes.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking, then dry thoroughly.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • These wedges pair perfectly with burgers, grilled chicken, or as an appetizer with dips.
